Katherine Iheke is a first-generation Nigerian-American dancer, choreographer, and creative director. Though she discovered dance later than most, she quickly became immersed in the hip-hop community, beginning her formal training in 2010. While earning a mathematics degree at the University of North Texas, she joined Renegades Elite Co., performing at multiple World of Dance competitions.
After graduating, Katherine pursued dance professionally, teaching and performing across various platforms. In 2017, she was cast in Monsters of Hip Hop: Unleashed, further expanding her industry connections. The following year, she joined the staff of Dance Revolution Dance Convention, where she continues to teach, choreograph, and perform in DR’s faith-based productions.
As the Founder and Creative Director of Focal Point Movement, Katherine has designed and led dancer development programs for beginner to pre-professional levels, emphasizing both technical excellence and artistic purpose. Her choreography blends styles and storytelling, pushing dancers to explore movement beyond convention. In 2023, she booked her first industry job dancing for Dolly Parton.
With over a decade of experience in training, teaching, and creative direction, Katherine remains passionate about exploring diverse dance styles and mentoring the Current & next generation of artists.
